Could it be True? Is Meghan Markle Pregnant?

There is quite a buzz about the newest member of the Royal Family, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. The 37-year old who married Prince Harry, 33, on May 19, 2018, appeared side-by-side at the 100 Days of Peace concert in London on Thursday, September 6. The concert commemorated the centenary of the end of the First World War.

Meghan, always glamorous, wore a sleeveless royal blue Jason Wu sheath dress that had pleats in the front where she could easily hide a baby bump. Of course, the rest of her looked absolutely radiant. With her shiny black hair parted on the side and worn long and flowing, the Duchess wore gorgeous matching royal blue sparkly heels and carried a diminutive black clutch.

With the handsome Prince Harry by her side, wearing a dashing bespoke navy suit, the couple held hands and Harry was spotted sweetly putting his hand on Meghan’s lower back throughout the evening.

The Duke and Duchess have always been very open about wanting kids. During various interviews when he was a bachelor, Harry expressed his desire for a family but often said he was just waiting for the right person to do the job!

The former actress and Suits star also openly talked with the press about having children. In 2015, she reported that she would love to have a daughter someday.

Since their fabulous wedding in May, Meghan and Harry have been seen traveling quite a bit. They are about to embark on their first royal tour, which will start in Sydney, Australia toward the end of October to open the Invictus Games. From there, the couple plans to visit other Commonwealth nations, including New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga.

With this extensive travel schedule, there are sure to be many photo opportunities for the couple and perhaps all of us will be able to see Meghan’s growing bump! We certainly hope so!

Kate and William’s Daughter To Be Queen?

With The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge already in the loop, plans are afoot by Prime Minister David Cameron’s government to change existing rules so that if the couple have a baby girl, she can one day claim the crown and be queen.

As current law stands, if William and Kate’s first child is a daughter but their second is a son, the boy would inherit the throne.

Cameron is hoping to change this and other ancient rules in order to bring the monarchy up to date. He has already written the governments in the Commonwealth of countries with Queen Elizabeth, 85, as their monarch. The rule change would have to be ratified by all of them.

“We espouse gender equality in all other aspects of life, and it is an anomaly that in the rules relating to the highest public officer we continue to enshrine male superiority,” Cameron wrote.

He also proposes lifting the ban on anyone marrying a Catholic succeeding to the throne, and is reportedly suggesting that only the first six in line to the throne need to get permission from the reigning monarch to wed.

The Palace had no formal comment.

PRINCE William and Princess Catherine will visit California in July.

The royal couple — who received the titles Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the day of their marriage at London’s Westminster Abbey last Friday — will take a trip to the west coast of America from July 8 to July 10 following their first official overseas visit to Canada from June 30 to July 8.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit California, United States of America, following their tour of Canada in July this year,” said a statement from the palace.

“The couple will visit the state of California from July 8 to July 10 2011. A detailed itinerary will be published at a later date.”

Although no other details of the California visit have been announced, William and Catherine’s 10 days in Canada will include stops in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and the National Capital Region.

Until now Catherine has only taken day long official engagements and has never visited America before.

It was revealed earlier this week that the couple are to set off on a world tour next year taking in Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean, as well as other Commonwealth countries in Africa and Asia, to ease Queen Elizabeth’s workload in her Diamond Jubilee year.

With the queen — William’s 85-year-old grandmother — reportedly having told fellow members of the British royal family they must rally round as she celebrates 60 years on the throne, it is thought Buckingham Palace officials are hoping to capitalize on the success of Friday’s nuptials, which were watched by an estimated two billion people worldwide.

“Demand for William and Catherine is expected to go through the roof following the incredible reaction to their wedding,” a source said.

“But next year’s Jubilee is major for the royal family and William and Catherine are keen to play their part in it.”
