Pregnant Carrie Underwood Gets a Helping Hand from Her Two Boys

Carrie Underwood is experiencing the difficulties of the third trimester of pregnancy and the newest challenge for the country singer is tying her own shoes. But not to worry, she has her two boys to give her a hand.

Underwood, 35, shared a sweet video of her husband Mike Fischer and their 3-year-old son Isaiah giving the pregnant mama some much-needed assistance on the small task.

The American Idol season 4 winner who is due in January captioned the Instagram video, “I can no longer tie my own shoes…So glad I have such sweet helpers.”

The proud mama gave praise to her son in the video saying, “You’re doing a good job, buddy. Fischer was a doting father and husband in the video offering to help out his son but Isaiah wouldn’t take any help from his father. Showing what a big boy he is he said to Fischer, “No I’ve got it. I’m doing it a cool way.”

Not being able to bend over and tie her shoes isn’t the only challenge the star has run into during her 3rd trimester. Underwood has had her fair share of insomnia and it’s costing her, literally.

Earlier in the month, the Oklahoma native tweeted that she had spent some hefty dough while trying the pass the time during a sleepless night. “Worst part about insomnia=waking up this morning to see what I bought online while I was up,” she wrote. “I just realized I spent over $600 on makeup. #SeemedLikeAGoodIdeaAtTheTime #HelpMe #TakeAwayMyShoppingApps #ButThereWasASale.”

The country sensation has been candid about her struggles to give her son Isaiah a sibling. After miscarrying multiple times Carrie Underwood is grateful that she is finally able to grow her family. “It took us a while to get here,” Underwood told Us. “I’m just so thankful … to find out Isaiah’s gonna have a baby brother. It was just great news. We’re excited.”

‘The Nightly Show’ Tackles the Racist Oklahoma Frat Video, While ‘Morning Joe’ Panelists…

In “there’s hope for humanity after all” news of the day, the University of Oklahoma is shutting down it’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter after a video of the frat singing a racist chant surfaced, sparking The Nightly Show‘s Larry Wilmore to comment on the events. In “just kidding, I spoke too soon” news of the day, the panelists over at Morning Joe blamed the incident on rap music.

Yeah, you read that right. Mika Brzezinski and crew, along with Bill Kristol, spent yesterday morning’s segment discussing Waka Flocka Flame‘s decision to cancel his performance for the disgraced fraternity. Rather than commending his decision, the panelists dug into his lyrics, pointing out the profanity, including his use of the N-word, as the reason why so many white kids feel like it’s OK to use racial slurs. One panelist even went so far as to generalize that these kids certainly don’t learn this ignorance within their own homes.

Sure, guys, blame it on rap music, because certainly these boys don’t practice their own agency. News flash, they’re millennial college kids. This is no one’s fault but their own.

On last night’s episode of The Nightly Show, Wilmore pointed out the ridiculousness of anyone daring to say racism doesn’t exist anymore by highlighting the video as a prime example of the ongoing discrimination. He also parodied the frat, bringing on a hilarious former SAE member who couldn’t understand that it wasn’t OK to say the N-word anymore.

The Morning Joe panelists could actually do well watching Wilmore’s segment themselves.
